I’ve been thinking a lot about dwelling and dwellings. In the Southwest, we not only live on a beautiful part of the earth, but also in homes that are made of earth. With their curved structure and rich hues, they blend in well among the rocks, desert and mountains. Standing in the grey area between natural and manmade, the adobes call me to paint them in the landscape.
